I made a handbag for my mother-in-law two weeks ago. I used thick linen for outer layer and also cross-stitched some patterns at the front. Inner layer is made of porka dots cotton and the bag also comes with a inner pocket. It took me a week to complete this bag, but actually most of the time was spent on the cross-stitch.
